Data Request
Last updated · July 4, 2026The short version: you can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the information you've given us. Contact us with your request and we'll take care of it — free of charge — within 45 days.
1. Your rights
If you're a Texas resident, the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (TDPSA) gives you the right to ask a business about the personal data it holds on you. Residents of other states may have similar rights. Subject to verifying your identity, you can ask us to:
- Access — confirm whether we hold personal data about you and get a copy;
- Correct — fix inaccurate information;
- Delete — remove the information you've given us;
- Port — receive a copy in a portable format;
- Opt out — of any sale or targeted advertising (we do neither).
2. How to make a request
Send us your request using the contact details below. To help us find your information and confirm it's really you, please include:
- Your name and the phone number or email you used when you contacted us;
- Which right you'd like to exercise (access, correct, delete, or port);
- Enough detail for us to locate your record.
Contact for requests: call us at (713) 682-5569 or email mckdc@swbell.net.
3. What happens next
We'll confirm we received your request, verify your identity, and respond within 45 days. If we need more time, we'll tell you why and may extend once as the law allows. There's no charge for a reasonable request.
4. If we say no
If we can't complete your request, we'll explain why. Under the TDPSA you have the right to appeal that decision — just reply to our response and we'll review it again. If you're still not satisfied, you may contact the Texas Attorney General.
5. No retaliation
We will never deny you service, charge you more, or treat you differently for making a privacy request.
