Privacy Policy

Last updated · July 4, 2026

The short version: we collect only what you send us through our contact or appointment request — so we can get back to you. We don't sell your information, we don't run advertising trackers, and you can ask us to see or delete what we have at any time.

1. Who this policy covers

This policy explains how McKinnon Chiropractic (“we,” “us,” “our”), based in Houston, Texas, handles information collected through this website. By using the site, you agree to the practices described here.

2. What we collect

Information you give us. When you submit our appointment request form, we collect your name, phone number, a preferred day and time, and a short optional note about what's bothering you. You choose what to send; you don't need an account, and there is no login.

Information collected automatically. Like every website, our hosting provider records standard technical request data — such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you view — in server logs used to deliver the site and guard against abuse. We do not use this to build a profile of you.

3. How we use your information

We use what you send only to respond to your inquiry, schedule your appointment, and communicate with you about the care you asked about. We do not use it for marketing to unrelated audiences, and we do not sell or rent it to anyone.

4. When we share it

We share your information only with service providers that help us operate — for example, the company that hosts this website — and only as needed to run the site. This site embeds a Google Map so you can find us, and loads fonts from Google Fonts; both are provided by Google. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights. We never sell it.

5. How long we keep it

We keep request and contact information only as long as we need it to handle your inquiry and for a reasonable period afterward for our records, then delete it. You can ask us to delete it sooner (see Section 7).

6. How we protect it

This site is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, we collect only what we need, and we limit who can access submissions. No method of transmission over the internet is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

7. Your privacy rights

Texas residents have rights under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (TDPSA), and residents of other states may have similar rights. Subject to verification, you can ask us to:

To make a request, see our Data Request page. We will respond within 45 days and will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. If we decline, you may appeal by replying to our decision.

8. Children's privacy

This site is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our practices or the law change. When we do, we'll revise the “last updated” date above.
